CHOR shows the letter written by FU MUI before her death and orders TING to reveal YUEN's identity as MASTER BAT. Furious, YUEN captures CHING. YUEN dislikes LING for following him. Jealous, LING sets CHING free. On her way to GENERAL TUEN's mansion, CHING meets TING and convinces him to disclose the secret of the BAT PALACE and to join them in uprooting it. YUEN kills TING and attacks the EMPEROR but is stopped by YING.
